Thank you Michael that's a coup! Am I feeling underwhelmed or just cannot see enough to be overwhelmed after all our hype?
Thanks for sharing. I really like how they designed the front bumper, even if I'm not a fan of stripes and the "plastic" look of that black thingy (not sure how to call it, sorry).
Here in Indy our roads in the winter deteriorate to a point that when I owned a BMW 650, I had 12 rim repairs and needed to replace over 16 tires in four years of ownership.
I don't think that's the VS in the background, or is it? Cannot imagine what else it would be though. Looking at the front end in detail, you can see a lot of potential downforce with that S duct. Apparently it's the rear, that we cannot see, which is beautifully detailed.
Not sure what some were expecting? 488GTB is a very hot looking car....where do you go from that? This just takes it up a notch....and enough of notch without being seen as having to try too hard on a car such as 488. Love it!
I thought car in rear might be a Challenge car but then could not work out why bonnet was up if not 488 VS.My money is on Carbon wheels being an expensive option.
When i look on the technic details i say yeeesssss! When i look at the pic i say, i LOVE the Speciale now a little bit more than yesterday! Perhaps it‘s only me but in my eyes there is a little bit Novitecism in the sytling...
Every Ferrari must be seen in person, then, thanks mecca and Porsche fpr the new aero driven Ferraris...
Looks to me like car in background has no stripe as well so might be to show and contrast basic spec and full options. If a lot of the Carbon parts are options that might make sense.
Somebody told that LE 488 would be Taylor made cars for challenge owners, the question is: Taylor made for aesthetics and livery only or Taylor made in mechanics and performance also?? Difficult to believe the second option, so, no particular advantage in having those LE if not for resale value
maybe the first leak was ok for F. but now i guess someone will get beheaded - the slaughterman from Maranello is already on its way.
It's a typical special model - all chances limited to bumper and other bolt on parts. Having said that, I think it looks very nice. Haven't said that about a new Ferrari in a while. I like the way they reduced the skirt width giving a very cool scalloped put effect. The front is pretty much as I predicted in my previous post, and even had the outlet similar to my color sketch. Plus the car in the back ground, as noted already, seems to be spring the CF wheel design, but in silver!
