488 magnetic charging port not as "sticky"

I have owned my 2017 488 for about 4-5 years now... Within the last 6 months I noticed that my magnetic charging port isn't as magnetic as it used to be.

Before I would slap on the charger and not think twice, but now it seems to sag a little when I first put it on which doesn't leave good enough connection to charge. So I find myself wiggling it around a little bit and making sure the cord is a certain way not to put weigh it down at all for it to get a secure connection.

Sometimes it can be pretty frustrating getting it to the perfect balance to get a secure connection, although at least so far once it has a secure connection it's never fallen off on its own.

Would this be an issue with the magnetic charging port or my factory battery tender?

I wiped the area off with my finger to make sure there isn't any dust that would prevent a secure connection.
