OP asked for dealer allocation. It totally depends on location. In the US, without prior purchase, it can take 2-3 yrs; in Europe it's 12 months; with prior Ferrari dealer purchase it will probably be 12 months. And as previous poster said, pre-owned immediately but expect to pay a 15-20% premium Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
In the U.K. for a coupe from the time you pay your £20k depo to when you get to drive the car is around 12m for a spyder roughly double that Regards Michael
I got a California T in the bay area last Sept. and I was promised a 488 delivery in 8-10 months. My built date will be March this year and possible delivery by May (hoping).
Robert, By prior purchase you mean necessarily a new car (vs. two, three pre-owned Ferrari Approved purchases to the same official dealer for instance)? Kind regards, Nuno.
I believe his question is related asking the time between allocation to delivery, not how long is the wait for an allocation. Allocation to delivery - 4.5 to 5 months Once you get an allocation (red 10) the build (red 20) will begin about two months after. So, January allocation is a March build with roughly a late May/early June delivery (red 94). If anyone has differing thoughts, please chime in, but I believe this is correct.
Where ? Contacted a few and that is not the case with main dealers at least. Maybe a little on huge option list cars, certainly no premium, but most around list still. What cars are you referring to ?
Got my allocation the last week of July ( factory was closed in August ) with a November build and should have the car this month.
