Same thing happened to me. My Pista was off the tender for a couple weeks. My dog must have bumped when he was sprinting through the garage. I put it back on the charger, and ran the battery back up. A week later, I went for a drive, and everything was fine for about an hour. Then I got this message.

I called roadside and had the car shipped to my AD. They quickly diagnosed it as a “faulty 02 sensor”. I swear it had something to do with the battery issue, but maybe it didn’t. It sucks because it makes you doubt the car. It was first time I have had a problem with any of my cars. Up to that point, my Ferrari’s had been bullet proof.

I had it happen to me two weeks after I received delivery of it. It’s a bad battery that’s all.

It’s not a sensor, trust me. It’s the battery, mine has been fine 2 years since.

Curious on what your resolution was. I just had this happen on my ‘19 Pista and am wondering if I can drive it in or should I get it towed.

If car starts up drive her to the dealer. It’s not going to stop if it’s running. The dealer has the capability to determine if the battery is charging to its full potential. In my case battery was charging only to 48 percent. They highly recommended I buy a new one. I too received many messages of go to dealer. One thing I learned is that these cars have considerable parasite drain. I took out the bulbs to the doors and the two at the frunk. Ever opened the frunk? The lights stay on perpetually. Also recommend you put the head lights in off mode. I have a secure garage so I never lock the doors or set the alarm. So far so good and always use the trickle charger after every drive.

Turn off the car immediately and seek shelter behind the nearest dumpster.

Do you ever give constructive criticism? Do you have a Pista? Obviously not or you would know Pistas come with Lithium batteries.

My Pista was done 6k miles on it. Still with the original battery that came with the car since 2019 Sept. recently I got the same battery warning ⚠️ too the lowest voltage was 12.8V at 3000rpm cruising highest on a good day was 13.3v max I have changed it to full with the factory battery tender came with the car too but problem still the same I wonder is this the norm? Is my battery weak or the alternator faulty? Seeking for help and input. Thank you very much in advance.

The voltage fluctuated on mine; however the lowest I saw was 13 volts. As long as it is not throwing a code or message I would not worry about it. Next time you take it in for service ask them to check your battery. They can tell you how much life it has left.

I’ll need to check mine the next time I drive it. I’m pretty sure I slip below 13.0 pretty much every time. I too am on the original battery and it scares the heck out of me. I’ve already been stranded on the road once and had to call Ferrari roadside.

How many miles on yours? I just traded my Pista recently at 15k miles and it's been great with original battery. One time I forgot to connect the charger for two weeks and battery was dead. I charged with oem charger and no issue since then.

About 1,000. I traced back my battery problem to my dealer failing (probably) to attach the tender during an extended service visit. It’s been solid sense, but it’s unnerving nonetheless.

I have the same problem as you. Stop the car immediately. But I found a solution for this no longer happens. For my part I disconnect the start and stop system and no more problem. Conclusion for me, it is the star and stop that makes my pista mess up.

When you say disconnect.. you mean press the button to turn it off, or something else?

Are you able to replace the OEM lithium with an aftermarket replacement? Ala OEM AGM Ferrari battery to Braille, Interstate, or dealer's choice?

Any OEM Ferrari battery scares the living hell out of me, PTSD honestly

As discussed in several threads the Pista battery has a port to connect to the Lin. The plug is built into the battery and proprietary.

Yes, that's right. I press the button to disconnect the start and stop. If I forget to do it, 20 minutes later I have the alert telling me to stop the car immediately. Conversely, when I don't forget to disconnect it, the problem never happens again.
