    Hello everyone

this is my first post on this forum and unfortunately its a problem that ı dıd not expect from novıtec at all. ım not even sure ıf ıts a problem caused by the exhuast tbh. so bought a 2018 rosso corsa pısta and ı fell ın love with it. only problem was the sound. it was too muffled. my brother has an f8 spider and hes got the novitec sport cats and staınless steel muffler with flap regulation. hıs car sounded awesome but ı wanted to get more out of my car. so fırst.. ı bought the catless downpıpes from novıtec. it sounded amaizing while ı stıll had my stock muffler. very loud downshıfts.. flames when ı shift .... only problem ı had was that becuase ı dont have a swıtchtronıc the flaps operated by oem standards meanıng ı couldnt open the flaps whenever ı wanted. so ı put ın the order for an ınconel muffler from novitec with the switchtronic. my mechhanıc ınstalled ıt 3 days ago. he told me the swıtchtronıc wasnt workıng. we took the car to the dealer to check if there is any fault codes that are messing with the flap regulators but there was no problem with the ecu at all. somehow today we got the flaps working but the car wont let me open the flaps when ım statıonary. ı know the flaps are already open in idle but still... do ı have to drive the car ın order to use the switchtronıc. ı know ı sound confused and ı am. please help me sort thıs thıng. also ıf anyone like extra ınformatıon about power gains here it is..

we dıdnt dyno the car but ı dıd some draggy runs

    stock 100-200 30C weather 5 secs
novitec catless downpipe and stock muffler 10c weather 4.69 seconds
oh and ı have to say... how the hell does thıs thıng shıft so aggresıvely
its like someone kıcks you ın the buttocks :)))))

thank you guys ı would really appreciate ıf ı can get some help

    cheers

Not sure what’s more impressive, that they have a 2018 or that it says they are 23 years old!!:p

I had a Capristo switchtronic remote installed and they had the reverse the solenoid with the magnet that comes. If it is working properly, you won't hear a change at idle. I did initially, and it muffled the sound and closed the valves at all times, so they had to reverse it. Also, if working properly, you can tell by about 1500rpm or so when the valves normally close. They won't.

Did you install the Novitec N-tronic? Switchtronic is just switches for the exhaust valves. You've completely changed the breathing on the engine and your fuel air ratio and so forth is not optimal and the car is slower...I am not surprised by this. You need to adjust the ECU to take advantage on no cats and free flowing exhaust.

The novitec version of the valve opener on the exhaust sucks. I had it before and the bluetooth tech they have is terrible. It looks cool and all with the cigarette adaptor button, but in reality it is really hit or miss to make it work. Mine only worked a hand full of times and I got rid of it.

What you want to do is buy a capristo or forza units to open up the valves and close on demand.
