    Does your Ferrari dealer do the PPF or is that done by a specialist company? What brand name for the PPF material you are getting applied?

    No - use an outside company. Car gets transported there today finally so hopefully should see it in 10 days or so. Wish it were sooner. These guys use the Clearshield hydrophobic product (which they claim as the best) and are the go to if you have a Pista and want all cf surfaces protected, so yeah they have a que unfortunately. Their work is truly amazing though. Was out there yesterday to check over my new 3rs which they were just completing. Stunning work. Hope to pick it up by tomorrow. There are many other PPF guys here but def not to this standard.

    Yes Pista is a very big job to get it perfect - takes between 10 and 14 days. Over one day just to do the rear under CF splitter. No blades used anywhere....refuses to use them and says they leave cuts in the paint that owners don't know about until after. His templates are produced by an on car scanner and then redone over and over until he achieves zero gap edge to edge where certain panels join and film cant be folded around. He says is very costly to set up as it uses a lot of film in the initial set up phase but is well worth it. The results speak for themselves....superb!
    The 3rs is black btw - just picked it up an hour ago. It's wow in the flesh, tailor made inside and out....very unique for a black 3. Looks fabulous parked next to the 2rs. Will send you a few pics by pm a bit later when I have a bit more time that way I don't upset anyone here by polluting the thread.

    Will do BG23 and thanks! It took me a bit of time to put together due to allocation and build slots etc I can tell you that much - wasn't easy - and hard got - but will be thoroughly enjoyed that I can assure!

    Thank you for sharing. This car appears to have used an asymmetric stripe design similar to what we chose for our TM Pista. Verde also. I like it. Please let me know if you find an unwrapped pic.
