Beautiful in Argento - however those awful front parking sensors destroy the front IMO. I’m definitely not having those! Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Going by that shot the stripe-less look is both color and angle dependent. It is not news the metallic silvers/grey's show the lines better on the car whereas solid colors rely more upon paint layers/depth to provide enough gloss to accentuate the lines. But as always - to each their own. To me the car still looks like it's missing something even in Argento.
I admit, I struggle with the whole issue, mainly because striping is so synonymous with the sport series cars. Let me put it this way, if my intention is to sell the car within a few years then I would definitely get the stripe. It’s clearly what most desire.
I still put it down to the stubby hood that interrupts the visual flow somewhat. The stripe tends to take the focus away from that. I too would prefer not to have stripes but the design and intent of the car kind of makes it look weird w/o. I also thought the argento with no stripe and silver wheels was a bit of visual conflict - with darker wheels would have eased it back....not that I'm a fan of black wheels.

I am not dying for striped cars, but IMO a Pista should have the stripes. It looks kinda naked or empty without them
