Here's a diamond amidst the dreck this thread has become. Is this your new Piloti? If so, congrats. If not, thanks for posting something on topic! [emoji2] T
Good points. I think you are leaving out a really critical factor about EVs. The batteries are so expensive and relatively inefficient (current technology- accidental pun!) that there is no profit for the manufacturers. This is a critical component of the the puzzle that often gets overlooked. However, EV does offer a lot of advantages for daily transport (much less maintenance required, much greater life, instant torque). But, due to cost and the points you make, my guess is the same as yours: for your daily vehicles you are likely to see smaller turbo IC engines along with small battery hybrid setups which will give you better mileage and give you nice power too.
Happy new year all. Let’s hope 2019 is great one, with great Ferrari’s!! Best, SF. Image Unavailable, Please Login
It won’t be long until Pistas will be sold under sticker price. Those trying to hold on to the dream of selling above sticker are about to learn a hard lesson in Economics 101
Nice FIRST post! LOL we will see in 5 years bub. My bet is they will dip then go to ABOVE MSRP again once its all settled down. Meanwhile I am having a blast with mine. How's yours? (Oh, yeah, sorry....) Don't you just love Motor Trend Magazine Drivers?
“It won’t be long until {insert just about every car brand in the world} will be sold under sticker price.” God, these sort of posts are boring. If that’s all you came here for was to post such an informed “expert comment”, don’t bother to make your second post. In the meantime, I’m just enjoying driving my Ferrari’s that I may or may not ever sell, so who cares what they’re reselling for
Somebody needs to start a new thread called "488 Pista depreciation" and use it as a trash can black hole for troll comments. Almost every thread is hijacked in the same way. Next thing you know, not even the car wash threads will be safe...
