Exterior “Extra Range” likely refers to the custom Italian flag stripe. Someone please correct me if I’m wrong.

You can obtain the exact build sheet from a Ferrari dealer and it will likely show the exact exterior configuration.

Also, you can see on the paint sticker “Bianco Italia Liv Tricolore…”

A dealer can pull this option list up….(also is on the MyFerrari app). See code under stripes:

I can’t speak to whether it is painted or a sticker. However, it should be under the clear. On my car, the stripe is beneath the clear and raised.

Quick clarification after feeling around my car’s stripe: In some places, the stripe feels completely smooth. In others, there is very tiny/slight raise. The stripe could be painted. It’s hard to tell. The Argento Nurburgring in my stripe has what looks to be metal flake in it.

What I was told is that stripes on a Ferrari are always painted from the factory. That is why they are so insanely expensive and you rarely see them on the lower models. Pista makes sense for the option. Example being that very few F8’s ever have them unless they had some super high MSRP.

I think you were given So very bad information. There are vinyl shops everywhere that put stripes. Also just look at all of the cars that have been sold where the seller discloses they put on the stripes but will take off. Here are a few that were put on after the fact.

Ferrari will not do decals. if you see something and its vinyl, its aftermarket. if its paint, its OEM (unless someone went through the trouble to repaint a Ferrari and add painted stripes). end of story.

Yep - my remarks were 100% related to factory stripes.

The last sales guy told me a set of stripes on one of their customers “to be picked up” 812 Competizone was something like $40k. This was a 750k MSRP build that was at the time worth about 1.5m. Again, this price point is why the “lesser” models just don’t usually have them from factory.
