Does the CS have after-market exhausts with an X-pipe? Perhaps S-line? I can certainly see the CS benefiting from an X-pipe exhaust. Most non X-pipes just simply accentuate what is there. X-pipes tend to lean more towards pure F1 screech. The CS does sound better than the Scud stock for stock. The Scud sounds great when you first get it, but after awhile you start to yearn for more F1 screech. That is where X pipes come in changing sound drastically and adding more response and power. My vote for best sounding V8 still goes to 2.7 F355's with proper after-market exhaust setup. But no one wants a 355 because it's too old. Nevermind the fact you can build one close to challenge spec (or better) which pretty much has the same Fiorano lap time as a Scud ... in manual configuration.
I am also in nearly the same boat, F430 and DBS Manual. When one car is in service then I still have another to drive. Also don't need to worry about mileage accumulation as much as I can split between two vehicles. They compliment each other beautifully and cover a lot of bases: Super GT & Supercar V12 & V8 Single Clutch & Manual MR & FR Engine British & Italian
