Ya. But not so i'm afraid. The justification drums are still banging away. Those few of us in the know just listen to them with a wry smile.
No, sold the F8 because the Pista was the car I always wanted to drive and got an offer over list price for the F8. Anyway the F8 is a great car but a Pista is a Pista
You specced your F8 , That is colour . The Pista colour is by default what it is. Granted spectacular yes but was this a hard decision to over come.
It was no hard decision to overcome as the Pista is specced exactly to my liking with the full carbon package and is for me the more exciting car to drive. When i ordered the F8, first specced it in the same color as the Pista but changed the color later to Grigio Silverstone because i like the color as well and saved €7,5k. The intention for the F8 was always to add black Pista wheels and a black racing stripe but left it original how i ordered it because the Pista has it all. I had a sneaking suspicion you were going say this. Congratulations on selling the F8 for a great price!
Great result and your Pista looks amazing. If i were put in the same position I wouldn't have thought twice about it, not even for a second.
It all depends on what you want out of the car. F8 is like a 911 turbo s and the pista is like a 911 gt3rs/gt2rs. I personally rather have the F8 right now but I totally understand why people would want the pista. I can have my F8 and GT500 for the cost of the Pista...For those who haven't, go try the new GT500. Not comparing it to a Pista at all, but I love the new gt500.
Yeah simple is the wrong word, cleaner maybe! I think the Pista is the best looking car Ferrari have made since they parted ways with Pininfarina! I like the F8 but it is a little fussier in the looks department.
I honestly wasn’t a fan of the F8 until I saw my friend’s amazing white one... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Looks to be a fine example and nicely coordinated although im not sure how well those white seats are gonna hold up over time.
They are decals.... my buddy specs his cars amazingly well. Has a beautiful Pista Spider as well amongst many more Ferraris. I always dub him the master unique spec’r. But he did joke that he didn’t want to pay $20k for a stripe lol. I've only driven the Pista, not the F8 - though from my armchair internet magazine driving - I would say the Pista is the more 'sporty' car. So the question comes down to two things: 1) Is that extra sportiness a requirement for you? (the only way to know is to drive them yourself with enough time to gauge your personal needs) 2) Is the price differential worth that delta if you do enjoy the extra sportiness more from #1? That's it. No amount of internet forum comment 'test-driving' will allow you to definitively answer #1 and #2, until you are behind the wheel of either yourself.
