    Purchasing a 488 with standard seats. No electric options. I would prefer to have racing seats. Has anyone swapped the CF racing seats into the 488? I have been told since these are not electric there should be no issue with airbags etc.

    Second question is are all of the seats the same in terms of rails etc? As in does it matter where the seats come from ? 458,F12 etc ?

    When I looked into this, it was something like 20k for racing seats. It was way more economical to buy a properly spec'd car than to buy a cheaper one then modify it. It made my search take longer, but did save money and trouble.

    That all depends. I bought this one with the acceptance of the seats. Just looking to see. May times we use confirmation bias in our purchase decisions without ever knowing if it was the right thing.


    My friend in here did the same thing on a 458. Owned it. Sold car with original seats and sold racing seats for even money.
