    So now that I have a 2018 488 Spider, I've been reading about all manner of aftermarket upgrades from exhaust valve controllers, ECU tuning, new exhaust pipes, and carbon fiber add-on/replacement parts, etc. Are any of these considered positives when it comes time to sell or serious detractors?

    Very little you do to any Ferrari is considered a positive so I would be very cautious. If you are concerned about resale value, do nothing except maybe cosmetic thing like carbon fiber. but don't go overboard.
