    Hi

    I am wondering if anybody has had any problem with their door speaker on their 488.
    My speaker on my door card seems to be making a noise whilst i drive like its blown.

    Has anybody experienced this?

    Could be a loose wire or harness connection. Have you recently had any stereo mods performed or services that required R&I of any equipment ?


    Also ask the guys in the 488 thread section.

    I had a problem on my F12 where the perforated paper insert between the grill and speaker was loose after a few years and it would sound like it was distortion when low bass was played. I had installed some new speakers and thought they were bad and/or blown. But when I played it without the grill, it sounded fine. So eventually determined that the paper insert (glued to the grill on the door card) had come loose and was having vibration when low bass was played. Spray glued it back and all is good. That could be the problem.
