Certain parts yes. Still out on the rear of the F8 . Interestingly though IN MY EYES the 488 was an outstanding improvement on the 458 and there is zero parts about the 458 that are better than the 488.
From a driving perspective, the F8 is definitely the better car. This is mostly due to better ESC integration and a bigger difference between comfy suspension setting and sporty setting. However, I do feel that the slightly less darty steering of the 488 is better. But with a bit of alignment, the F8 steering can be tamed - just like it can on the Pista. 488 was always just not right. At first the F8 was too Vette and Mc, but now I find it very attractive esp in spider form. I see the 488 going down as the dog in the modern lineup, relegated below 458 in price/visceral enjoyment and F8’s performance and modern design.
