    When I open the roof, at the end of the cycle the passenger window hits the rear cover. A video is attached. When it was in for service they recommended replacing the entire door seal which does not sound right. It looks like something needs adjusting. Looking for some ideas.

    Had the same issue on my 2016 488 spider, it was the glass that got out of alignment so they adjusted the glass and that was it. Hard to believe they said a seal would fix it. Guess there looking for some extensive work with costly parts

    I also assumed it was a glass adjustment. I have adjusted glass on other cars that had accessible screws through the bottom of the door. I don't know how easy or hard it is to do it on a 488. I hope someone here knows.

    If the 488 is like the 458, you remove the inner door panels to access two recessed torx screws near the top of the door frame. Once loosened, the glass can be adjusted. The procedure is in the 458 WSM.
