Hi, While driving the 488GTB, I noticed a ticking sound. Its most noticeable when stopped at a red light. Sounds like it’s coming from just behind the seats. It’s not following the revs. So reving the engine does not seem to affect the frequency of the ticking. Anyone had the same? I can try to record the sound if that would help. Thank in advance!
I've noticed that recently in my 488 spider. Can't quite figure out where it is coming from but like you it seems to be behind the seats.
Do a search for this ticking issue for 458s. I had the same issue. Replaced two parts for a bout $140. Fixes the annoying noise. Nothing wrong with the ticking as far as harm, etc. Just annoying and can be fixed.

Hi... did curious did you replace those parts and did it eliminate the ticking? I think I have the same thing in my Spider
Hi, I’ve not yet replaced them. I wanted to ask the dealer when I take it for spring service. Odd thing. It’s winter in Switzerland but I take it for a spin even if cold weather (and roads are nice). I didn’t notice the sound last 2 drives. Made me wonder if it’s more pronounced when hot temperatures. Anyway. Let’s see when spring is here and season starts. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
