My 488 Trickle Charger continues to blink on the bottom. I cant seem to find an answer in the manual if this is normal. Is anyone familiar? The uploaded photo below shows the green light as solid. It is now currently blinking green. Any help is much appreciated. Thank you

Poor connection. Are you trying to connect it under the cover? I bit the bulletin and cut an access hole in the cover in order to negate connectivity issues.

ViperJoe - Thank you. I raised the cover slightly above where the charger attaches, and it solved my problem!

Blinking green was going to say the same thing. (Poor Connection). I don't understand regarding cutting the hole in the cover. Does the cover put undo pressure on the cord or does it simply get to hot? Does the 488 have the same nitch at the bottom of the passenger door as does the 458 for the cord placement as I was initially thinking bad connection due to cord crimp by the door?

Totally different from the 458: Connection is on the rear facia. Car cover dislodges magnetic connection. Cutting a slit in the cover eliminates the problem.

To elaborate, I cut a slit in the car cover which allows me to fit the cover completely over the car, and then feed the charger plug through the slit. I'll have the slit professionally sewn so that its appearance is as it should be.
