    :)

I'm sure she'll be quite "a-mused" by that haha.

She actually has a Ferrarichat account as I remember, although I don't think she logs in much. She's also on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/abilola90/ if you'd like to follow her pole dancing & aerial stuff.

Here's an example from the other day:

I have noticed several 488s on AutoTrader.com suddenly showing "reduced price."

Try most stuff. 6k mile 16M that looks clean with an ask of sub 290k at Ferrari of Washington. No affiliation, was just forwarded to me yesterday as I've been watching for 16Ms.

Although interesting from the point of view that it is a special edition, if I was on the market for a 488, I’d never consider a 16M once I feel it’s no match in terms of driving fun to a 488.

    Kind regards,

    Nuno.

Driving fun as an aside and debatable, it should come as no surprise that the direction prices on 488s is trending is down.

Well of course, did you expect them to go up or remain the same?

I sold my 488 in preparation for an incoming Pista and lost 15% in 1 year. Overall that's pretty good for a car with the replacement already announced.

Same here, lost 14% after 2 years with 5k miles on my spider but sold it as soon as the Pista was announced.

Wow, after 2 years, that's incredible and way better than my scenario, but you did sell it sooner.

You both did way better than me. I look to be facing over 30% loss in 14 months :(. That's for a tasteful but relatively low spec'd coupe.

As will all Ferrari’s going forward. The days of regular production models holding value are long gone.

Let me guess, you didn't have the CF and LED wheel equipped?

No. I had no such expectation. Not sure where the notion I did could have been arrived at. Posts above mine on the other hand, well, maybe it's glee rather than surprise. Idk.

Indeed. I thought posting, not necessarily a "bellweather" example car, but certainly one that would show market softness (rather than froth) it should be a canary for where depreciation and regular models are certainly heading. Mind you, I have done no research on the example I provided in the 16M. But if that can be snatched for around 250-260k, its gonna get uglier in regular production land than prettier.

No, I have the CF/LED wheel, shields, and racing seats. Not exactly a stripper, just not bloated with options either.

Sorry to hear that, a 30% loss on a 488 GTB would be $80K, or thereabouts. That's terrible for a 14 month period, seems like I got lucky.

Hope you at least drove it and got some enjoyment/made some memories for that loss...

Yup, put about 3000 miles on it and of course, it was a requirement to get a Pista so hopefully it will be worth it in the end;).

That explains it, your dealer just wanted to make the $100K off you. 30% drop in 1 year on a 488 is steep even today for a decent spec car. Either way they were going to hose you on a Lusso or another flavor of the month.
