While I decided to buy Huracan, currently in Dubai 2015 Huracan, 2013 458 spider and 2016-2018 488 gtb are at the same prices.

Although Huracan is a better vehicle in terms of handling, acceleration, interior material quality etc., I see that the prices of 458's are increasing and will increase( last N/A). My aim is to use the vehicle for 1-2 years, drive it for 10 k kilometers and change it or keep it according to its appreciation potential.

The average price of these vehicles is around 150k USD here. They are similar kms.

When I look at the US market, the price of 458 and 488 is higher than Huracan. I don't need perfect handling or perfect acceleration. I am also

I just want to enjoy my car for 2-3 years. Of course, it will be a plus for me if its value does not decrease or it appreciates.

It will be my first super sports car.

Do you think I should buy a 458 spider or a 488 gtb which are the same price even though the huracan is a better car? (dont know if huracan hybrid successor will bump its prices)

    - If i stick with ferrari, its better to buy 488 gtb or 458 spider? (488 spider is out of my budget)

Buy the car you like. Cars aren't investments, well, these 3 aren't investments.

Same answer I gave in the other thread:

"Drive all 3 and decide for yourself. Our opinions don't matter. We already told you the pros and cons of 458 vs 488 (in our opinions), and not too many of us have driven both Ferraris and the Huracan (at least I didn't). However, if you drive them, they are all completely different from each other, and one will feel better to you. That's the one you should buy! You will be happy with any of those I'm sure.
What is important to you in a car, will be different than what is important to others."

  4. If that's the way you feel about the Huracan vis-a-vis the 458/488, then I think you've already answered your own question.

Buy the car and you'll never regret the money you spent. Buy the deal and you'll never really enjoy the car.

this is going to sound shallow and simplistic: which brand /design turns you on more?

relatively few people cross shop these brands, usually bc of a clear preference for one or the other.

you’re considering lambro, aesthetically, i’d also consider mclaren, unless you need it to work consistently. any similarly priced mclaren will drive/handle/brake/depreciate circles around a given lambro.

1yr 7 months and you are still trying to figure out what car to get?

For your use...everyday but still a super car....you should get a 812 Superfast.

I didn’t even see that it was April of 2023!!!! He said he was going to use it for 1-2 years, so he would have already bought it and ready to trade out by now. :p

    sadly, out of my budget

    will look for 488

I am self made, I have just adjusted my financial situation, it will be my first super sports car, I do not want to make a mistake, I'm thinking of buying it for sure in December.

i respect this and can relate.

    it’s a tricky business.

my first true supercar purchase was earlier this year. i did maybe 6 months of intense homework, test drives.

fell in love w the driving experience of 600lt, which is truly sensational. religious. etc etc

i bought one certified, *very* low mileage, seemingly mint, and it spent 6 of 13 weeks in shop, eventually just flat out failed in the rain and bespoke mso interior flooded.

had to get intense to make dealer/brand do right thing, which they eventually did.

the moral of the story: you can do all things due diligence things and it still goes sideways w this ****.

imo, 911 is truly the last bastion of certainty. beyond 911, it’s the frontier and you gotta pay your money and roll them dice

My 1st was a 488 too. 488GTB. I nor my wife are spider (convertible) people ;-) I prefer the GTB and my current F8 Tributo due to stiffer chassis, lighter weight and looks. I love seeing the engine!!! Here in Florida it is usually too hot to drop the top. Plus the sandy grit dusty roads get all inside the car. You can't go wrong with a 488, that is for sure. This is all preference and any of these cars is not wrong or a mistake.

    Great choices.

I wouldn't purchase any of the cars you mentioned, anticipating appreciation in a year or two. I would plan on them all depreciating, a bunch, so, there is no disappointment, years from now.
    .
I believe the 10+-year-old LP580 / 610 may depreciate the most. Their values have at least in the US been heading south, more completion from the newer Evo and Tecnica models.

Which one is the best? It is really up to the driver which one gets their heart beating faster. And for me, where to take it for service. none are inexpensive for routine repairs.

Another coupe only crew member checking in. They just look better too, especially on Ferraris. Part of the Ferrari aesthetic is being able to see that amazing engine.

i’d seriously consider convertible only on carbon fiber tub cars. mitigates the rigidity penalty
