    Looking to buy my first Ferrari and leaning towards a 488. Now, I love the way the car looks but would like to add an aftermarket valved straight pipe exhaust system... I'm not entirely keen on the stock setup and sound. Would this void the Warranty from the Ferrari Dealer?

    Technically...yes. However..some dealers will turn a blind eye to it if they install the exhaust themselves. Talk to your dealer before doing anything.

    We did the warranty on our 488, and it is up in October of this year. A couple months ago we decided to do exhaust as we had put approximately 18k miles on the car since we purchased it at that time. It will definitely void the warranty, and it will definitely make the car sound great. I don't regret it at all.

    Yes, it will.

    And a stupid straight-pipe obnoxious bullhorn exhaust to make the 488 sound like a Ferrari instead of a blender, is not necessary. There are many options.
