488 - Whats missing behind my passenger seat?

    After a few weeks of ownership I tilted the passenger seat forward to see that it looks that something is missing back there. I tried searching google images and cant find anything.

    Can a 488 GTB owner take a picture or link me to whatever piece is missing? Not a big deal because its unnoticable with the seat back but I would most likely purchase whatever is supposed to be there. I'm guessing a coat hook or some kind but google searching comes up empty.

    Thanks! Thats a very cool site. I just spent a few minutes looking myself and I see nothing that would go there either. Its a very specific cutout with 3 screw holes which somthing would be mounted on. Hopefully someone know what goes there

    Perfect thank you! I guess it was a factory ordered option? Maybe I can figure a way to cover it with something less noticeable. Either way its not noticeable unless the seat is tilted. More than anything I was wondering what went there. Thank you for the picture

    Yeah, it's for securing a baby seat. I had this on my 458 and had to look up what it was for. Not sure if it was on the 488, but I would guess it was.

    That's kind of odd that your car didn't come with it.

    Looks to me like someone removed it. I’m sure you can find one either at Ricambi or at exotic auto recycling in rancho Cordova Cal.
