    Need to refinish a wheel on my 488 spider. It's the grigio corsa color, I believe matte. Seems really hard to find this color and the wheel refinishing people I know will just use general grey colors. Has anyone successfully paint matched and refinished oem wheels? Searched the forum and can't seem to find anyone who has found/done this.

    Thanks for any help/guidance here.

    Any proper powder coating, body shop can match the color just with trial and error against the stock wheel.

    There are specific wheel repair companies. Typically, you do two wheels on same side of car. Nearly impossible to exactly match. Some wheel companies have certain wheel colors dialed in like BMW, Benz, etc from years of yore, but modern wheels are super difficult. A lot of wheels are painted and then clear powder coated. Wheel manufactures, especially for OEMs are using very sophisticated coating system in the process. Hard to duplicate for a repair.

    I do this for a living and have been dealing with it for 30 years. Wheels America use to be the largest and original. Now every city has competitors. Found the best collision center doing high end cars and ask them who does their wheels.
