Hello, my ferrari 488 challenge evo is currently running Pirelli's on it, I would like to find out if any of you have Hancooks or Michelin in similar sizes that you use?

    Thank you

Dude, you move quick! Adding a 992 Cup GT3, decided (for now) not to upgrade to a 488c. We’ll see……The 458c’s been a hoot!

If car is oversteering, you can change from DHA to DHF compound. World of difference

Hi, race in a GT4 car... here are you options with ranking (if you're just doing track days and not obligated to a specific tire for a series)

    Comparing medium compounds
    1. Yokohama AD005 - A60 - heats up in 2-3 laps, 1st 10 laps are fastest but stays consistent until you're on cords. Has soft sidewalls.
    2. Michelin - 1st 15 laps are quick then performance falls off. Soft sidewalls
    3. Pirelli - 1st 10 laps are quick then performance falls off hard. Semi-soft sidewalls.
    4. Hankook - Though these are in the same class as the above slicks... they really aren't. The sidewalls are incredibly stiff. They work on softer suspension racecars. Grip is at best where the michelin's fall off to... but... they last 2-3x as long and are 35% cheaper. If you need to do long weekends or are concerned about frequent tire swaps, these work well for training.

I mention sidewalls as the soft sidewalls mean you can run a stiffer setup and the tires help out... but you lose a little precision in turn ins.
