Help me welcome to its new home the cousin to the Barchetta. Yes..... in its new home for the Holidays will be the 2004 Porsche GT3 in Speed Yellow with black interior. Euro Seats in Black with yellow stiching. Sound familiar? Well the transport (Intercity Lines) just called an hour ago, just dropped a car off in the Hamptons and has begun his 225 mile journey to Wilmington.Driver says plan on him arriving around 4PM. I propose a welcome party. A few guys are hanging around the shop today for various reasons so come on over before you have to be home for your Sunday Family dinner. No RSVP required...see ya if I see ya. Address 12 Hadco Rd Wilmington De 19805 Jon in Delaware

Jon, Congratulations buddy. It looks great next to the Barchetta. The yellow has a little more red in it then the Ferrari Giallo, but it's gorgeous. Sorry Josh and I couldn't make it, but his birthday party had 5 teenagers spending the night last night and they didn't leave until early afternoon. By the time they left I was hacking and coughing so we decided not to come and get you guys sick. Josh is not happy about us not showing up but we will make up for it with a major motion picture extravaganza when we get some dry weather. I'll give you a call during the week. BTW We went for a twenty minute ride in the F-car yesterday and came back with a roofing nail through my pass side back tire. Damn, now I have to get a new back set at $200 a pop. Josh will be putting the Noble video on You-Tube later tonight and I will post a link.--Bob

Thanks everyone! The car looks great setting next to the Barchetta. I really have grown to love Yellow. This is the third car I have owned in this color and for me its now my favorite color. Thanks to Alex for braving the weather to come and share the joy. Now we just need to get the rain to stop so I can go out and enjoy the car. See you on the backroads...she isnt going to be a garage queen. No salt or rain and its out!!! Jon

Jon, congrats!! Sorry I couldn't be there yesterday (or Saturday for that matter), but I had a packed weekend! She looks like a beaut and I can't wait to see her next weekend if we finally get these storms cleared out....by the way, I talked to Pat about the other car and he wants to think about it this week. He was over my house on Friday for dinner and we watched all of the Noble videos from Top Gear and Fifth Gear!! That got the juices flowing enough for him to contemplate how much fun it would be to have a real weekend toy instead of a poser....

    Talk to you soon!

    Joe

Joe, thanks for the compliments and the thoughts. Poor Patrick...you wont rest until he is an owner of an exotic!!! All kidding aside he would have alot more fun as a participant than as an observer. And honestly i cant think of a less expensive way to become a participant at the true exotic level than the Noble. Everything below this price point is either 25 years old and requires some mechanical skill or isnt truly Exotic. the Noble is a real value in that regard. I wont be around this weekend..have to travel on business but will be around the following. Hoping for a nice day!!!! Jon

Barcheta- My car is lowered but I don't know how much. Koni shocks. The wheels are 16's with Bridgestone RE-O1R. These tires are the best I have ever driven on. So much traction I can't believe it and I got over 15,000 miles on them before running over nail. Probably had at least 2-3 thousand left conservatively. Tire Rack lists them as the only tire in their category. Super-High -Performance Summer or something like that. Definitely worth the money. Bob

Jon, Were you in Newark yesterday around lunchtime? Followed a yellow GT3? down Del. Ave. from Elkton Road. Looked like temp plates. I was about 4 cars behind.
There was a picture of a Porsche going around a downed tree branch on B-3 in the News Journal yesterday I think. Black and white and I don't know my Porsches . Anyone see it?
