I think another factor to add that people are seeing more ferrari, is that conspicuous consumption & public display of wealth is less of a taboo today

Ferrari posted 3rd quarter results just a couple of hours ago. Revenue and profit were up, but the growth in car shipments slowed down.

While 2 quarter 2017 shipment were up 5.9% to 2,332 cars globally, Ferrari reported only a 3% increase in shipments to 2,046 cars in third-quarter 2017 (3rd quarter is normally slower). The company said in its filings that it continues to expect total shipments for 2017 to be around 8,400 units.

So, not the 10,000 car target yet.. but perhaps next year?

Even at the 8400 level, Ferraris will be rare by any reasonable measure. On the other hand, the increased production may noticeably improve allocations and waiting times.

Well when the day comes that a common man or woman can buy a Ferrari, I'm moving to Pagani. I'm certainly not going to take this crap from them.

Porsches (with the introduction of the Cayenne and in particular the Boxster) are a very common sight here. 911's are quite common too. I see two or three on my way to and from work.
Boxsters and Cayennes are very, very often seen.
It is the latter I worry about (a teeny weeny bit) that Marchionne might want to mirror.

    Key word , 'Here'

I had an office in Beverly Hills and if I decided to view life through that tunnel I would think Rolls Royces were the car of choice for half the population of the USA.

    Its about perspective.

Starting to be more common? Hardly. Ferrari could go to 10,000 units per year and still retain their exclusive status.

No - that is not possible.

If it a 180 degrees, then it cannot be a "V". It is semantically impossible. That is like stating a round square. Makes no sense.

It is a Flat 12. A true Boxer engine would be a subset of a Flat 12 engine. The engine in the Boxer / TRs is not a Boxer engine - just a Flat 12.

With 3,300 Dodge Demons to be produced (already sold) and 8,400 produced Ferraris this year, Demons should be more rare, if not for all but 300 demons sold are sold in the US.....(yes, I know that Dodge has sold 1,1 million "other " chargers.

Anyone have any production numbers of the WV Lambos?

Absolutely. My perspective is that Ferrari potentially 'here' could be as common place as a Porsche :). Well depending on the price of that SUV!
Realistically though it will still look **** but be expensive most likely.
