    Hey Kevin:
I was in Vegas last week and I heard that Wynn will have a Ferrari and Maserati dealer in his new casino. That would be great to get Lambo as well. While you are there, you may want to check out the car collection at Imperial Palace. I didn't make it there this time but they did have a Jag XJ220 on display for a while in the past.

I took the 348 across the dam to AZ and parked it next to the dam for a photo op. Unfortunately you can't stop on the dam itself.

On the way back I made a detour into the park, you take a right turn coming from the dam after a couple of minutes.

Before you leave Vegas, make sure you know how to fuel the car up and do it. Dream Car Rentals has a nasty habit of giving you an empty tank.

Another place for a photo op would be the raceway. And of course cruisin' up and down the strip. Moviestar feeling guaranteed.

Yeah,I have some photo's from that little Park area that is just into the Hoover Dam area, coming in from the Arizona side, before you start the big,downward,twisties...:)

I drove up there to show my kids, and,it was the only place to,well, nature Calling. Those Porta Pottys are horrendous!...:(

And,down at the bottom,we pulled over for a few quick Photo's (there are only a few little spots that you can pull a car over. But,going the other way-From the Nevada side, going back to AZ. They only will fit a car or two.) And we got some great Pix of the Dam,and with my Family standing in front. But,I would go early as possible to avoid more traffic.

The drive to Hoover is a good one but I heard the drive through Red Rock cayon is a better one. I did the 348 last winter and had a blast. The 348's that DCR has are in pretty good shape but no A/C they disconnect them.

I would agree with that. I did the dam in a 348 and Red Rock Canyon in a 355. You can't go fast in the park, but the scenery is out of this world beautiful and the 355 whails like a symphony past 5,000 rpm in 2nd gear.
    :)

If you do go to the Dam keep in mind when you go up the parking ramp you will set off car alarms in the 348. It took us like 3 levels before I figured out why are there so many alarms going off. Have fun.

    Hey Andreas,

I was just there a few weeks ago and looking at your picture of the water level is probably at the normal stage there, When i was there the water level was 90 feet below normal, it was really low, in fact a few marinas on lake mead had to re-locate....

My pics were taken about 5 years ago. I'm amazed they still have the 348 around (assuming it is the same car). I drove it home on four cylinders. The TR had a slipping clutch. Rental cars are taking a beating and maintenance is probably secondary.

Did the 348 you rented have a tan interior or black. The one I rented had the Tan interior
