Just noticed on the Pic the middle ones(real one)brain has been taken away,I suppose that"s no real surprise, always wondered how they got them to dress up in that ridiculous gear. It"s lucky for me there is no pic of me around as I would probably "Reappear"wearing it to!!!!

My vote would have to be

    Beatles
The Who (Whos song is heard in every concert right before the main act comes on)
Kiss (not many will agree but they put on a hell of a show)

Sorry about getting off topic with Brother Bruce and the Rollers

But is Rock the same thing as Rock and Roll ??

Can we call this evolution or are these two different genres of music ?

What does say, Whitestripes have to do with Elvis ?

They share the same influence; early american rhythm & blues.

In my opinion, this is what separates the Stripes from the current crop of 'garage rockers' (or whatever you call them), and should help in their longevity (in what ever incarnation they take). Jack White skips over the generation that influences most musicians his (our) age today, and goes to the source of Rock+Roll; Howling Wolf, Blind Willie McTell, Son House, etc.
