I didn't get a chance to see the chassis stamping myself, just the plate and engine number. Maybe a friend of mine, who was there, did. I'll ask him.

blinker can under dash same type of unit used on 60's BMC cars -- they get HOT when used for a while PS congrats on your Vanden Plas Princess unusual and rare
Everything in a 1960s BMC car gets hot when used for a while trust me! thank you for your comment about my Princess! If you allow me a little digression from the 500 Superfast: the car is a genuine LHD with metal sunroof. Bought new by a big editor in Paris (Pierre Firmin Didot, who had an Aston DB4 as well), he sold it in 1978 to a friend of my father’s who sold it to me when I was 14 instead of sending it to a scrapyard (the car hadn’t started in 10 years). I mended it with my then 85 years old grandfather and now use it every weekend in Paris!
I saw this one at Watkins Glen in 1975 and then again at Chinetti's in 1976. Anyone know the S/N? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yesterday 2 Superfasts were auctioned in Amelia Island via Gooding & Co. (6043SF) and Bonhams (8817SF). For the Gooding one, I want to ask is it still in Verde Scuro? Gooding & Co. said “Presented in Its Unique Original Colors of Verde Scuro over Nero” but maybe I’m a bit of color-blind, from their detailed pictures I cannot see green like its before. Since the previous owner has several repainted Ferraris (275 GTB/4, 250 California SWB), has 6043SF also been repainted? The ex Lord Hanson Superfast 6043 SF has not been repainted and is very genuine and original and it still is Verde Scuro 19394 (Italver 883). I last inspected it last week in Amelia Island at Gooding's. Marcel Massini
Hi we have just had a fresh delivery from Pirelli https://www.longstonetyres.co.uk/classic-car-tyres/ferrari/500-superfast.html A load of the 205VR15 Pirelli Cinturato CN72 just like the ones in these photos. They have been out of stock for a while. Cheers p.s. i do think "500 Superfast" is the best name for a car ever!
It's very dark green. In normal circumstances it looks black. Only in direct sunlight you can see it is green. Picture recently taken at the Paleis Soestdijk Concours in The Netherlands. Image Unavailable, Please Login
What kind of form is this? Note it mentions 500SF as well as 500SA. I came across it in Jean-Louis Bezemer's archive. Funny to see some of the "options" listed. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Rimesso is the factory delivery note, a standard paper issued by the factory for every single car when delivered to the dealer or (in this case here) directly to the client. The "nostro riferimento 500/SA" translates into "Our order reference 500/SA" and is pure coincidence and has nothing directly to do with a 500 Superfast or a potential 500 Superamerica. Marcel Massini
