    My car didn't have a speed limiter when I bought it. I removed the cover to check what was underneath and found that there is no socket connector for the speed limiter. The cover instead looks very professional like factory supplied. Is it possible that the later auto transmission cars have been delivered without the limiter?

    I don't know, this is the 1st time I've seen this. Cover does appear factory installed.

    I believe that other makes used the same ignition box without the rev limiter. Lambo maybe?
