We are actually planning something big down here in Southern California and at the Concorso Italiano in Monterey, CA as I have spoken to the new organizer of the concourse Italiano in Monterey and they do want to do something special for the 308 hopefully next year at least will be the marquee. so for those of you who can bring their cars to the Concorso Italiano in Monterey next year, please do so let’s give them a big show.
Cavallino Classic Palm Beach, January 23-26 2025. The 34th edition of the Concorso will celebrate the anniversary of three iconic models: - 50 years of the Ferrari 308 GTB - 30 years of Ferrari F50 - 20 years of Ferrari FXX
When’s the Monterrey event held? I’ve had a GTB under restoration for 10 years now in San Diego. Maybe I can get it across a finish line with a reason. Nothing else works.
I don't know why someone would want to !report the above comment. I'll be in SD before Christmas and would love to go kick that guy's asino. Doc
Beautiful Julio....I especially love the ending when the closed captioning says "Music" and all you can hear is the 308's engine. - Dave
I hear ‘ya….literally just swapped Kjet for carbs….just in time for the rainy season. Looking forward to a break in the weather so I can enjoy the symphony. - Dave
Would people here possibly be up for a 50th anniversary road ralley? I know Curated did that ralley a couple of years ago for the Countach, which looked amazing. Maybe we can do something similar for the 308? I would think we could maybe get 20-25 cars together. Just a thought.
This was 10 years ago when we celebrated the 40th anniversary, we wanted to get 40 cars and called it “40 for 40” but only 36 cars showed up. Next year we plan to get 50 cars or more down here in SoCal and hopefully over at the Concorso Italiano in Monterey, CA I hope some of you will and can join us at the CI as I was told by them they like to celebrate the 308 50th anniversary next year.
