    Anyone know what a 512 BBi engine/transaxle unit weighs? If you reply, please include how complete the unit is, i.e. with or w/o ac compressor, starter, bell housing....
    As you might guess, I'm pulling mine.

    Looks like no one so far has a number. Perhaps you all are hesitating because you don't know for sure. Fair enough. But that's not getting me anywhere. So it's ok now to take an educated guess. Let me know what you think.

    I think it will be about the same weight as the TR engine/gearbox.
    if anyone has this out of the car he could put it on a scale to meassure, or even when it get out of the car with a crane or something else you could put a scale between.
