    Need to redo the oil lines on my BBi. Large, short one has crimp-type ends; longer, smaller diameter one has Aeroquip-type screw-together type ends. First question: can this be original, with two different type ends? Second question, and this depends a bit on the answer to the first: I am having trouble finding local source to re-do these. Any suggestions on place to talk to about doing them? Would prefer to keep braided steel hose during re-do.

    Going through this now, again with a bb...What you have is original. They are still available new, although the long hose is near NLA. (Folks show they have, but don't). I've got a few NOS (original) hoses on the shelf. PM for details. They can be remade "locally", but find folks that want to do them can be a bit of a challenge.

    on a BBi I don´t know, but on a TR those fittings on the hoses are not pressed, only screwed. so you may look around there only for the hoses if on a BBi it is the same?

    I had mine rebuilt by a local hose shop located near O'Hare Airport. They used the original fittings and welded convoluted, high pressure SS tubing which has a SS braid covering. They did a nice job and wasn't expensive.
    In 10k years this may be the only parts remaining.
