    I just purchased the correct rims for my 512 BB. I will have Michelin XWX 215/70 VR15s on the front and Michelin XWX 225/70 VR 15s on the rear.The new rims are 7 1/2 X 15 on the front and 9 X 15 on the rear.

    I currently have BBi rims on the car and the tires are Michelin TRX 240/55 VR 15s on the front and rear. The BBi rims are 180 TR 15 on the front and 220 TR 15 on the rear.

    What would be the characteristics of each set? Which set of rim/tires would handle the best in regular driving and on the track?

    trx's are the worst. the xwx's will be better...and correct.

    if you want better tires on the 15" wheels, look into avon vintage race tires. 90 tread compound gumballs!
