You are correct. I remember that. We had the whole set in one of our tool cabinets at the dealer before they made the socket for them.
Do you recall the color of the jack?

You are spot on. Clete is the authority on the 330. This is because he was getting a little fed up with the inconsistencies in judging his Ferrari. He owned a BBi512 and I wish he would have done the same for the BBs. When I have my BBi judged I hope for the likes of Brian Crall, Dick Fritz, Martha or Phil Bachman, the late Mike Dunne. The young judges should soak up as much . from the older authorities who sort of grew up with and working on these Ferraris.

    Thanks Paul,
So, definitely the jack's colour for my 1982 512 BBi is yellow.
I am trying to find this tool kit (the big one bag with yellow jack, hammer, etc): not easy, either original or perfect repro.
If anyone has an idea for supply, welcome...

I see them for sale on American Ebay pretty regularly. Many are not complete but may be a good stating point.

    Hello,
I am back on this thread about the Monodado hub wrench for my 512 BBi.
I am proposed a black wrench STAFOR 42 said to be for 365 or 512 BB.
I do not know the meaning of "42" (is it the offset height in mm at rim?).
I measured the depth between the nut (from the most internal side point; hex nut being 8mm thick) and the tire external plane: 55mm (slightly less at external wheel rim).
Newman told us earlier than the offset for 512 BBi is greater than for 512BB, even if the alloy wheel are the same dimensions (front 180TR 415; rear 210TR415), while the tyres are rear and front Michelin 240/55 VR 415 TRX.
So, does the the STAFOR 42 fits to undo the nut of a 512 BBi with sufficient room?
    Thanks for your answer.
    regards,
    Jean-Paul

42 is likely for the Rudge Whitworth 42 hub size. Others may know for certain.

    Damned! Of course.
So, for the offset inclination/angle there is no indication on the wrench. Just look if it fits for a 9 ‘´ wheel as is 512 BBi. But I have not since I am looking to buy it on Internet.
    Thanks anyway.
