    i just met someone on the plane that has a either 81 or 82 512BB Carb. black on tan with 8000 original miles for sale. i have no knowledge about the older ferrari's but was wondering what is this car worth?

    Thought the ‘81/ ’82 models were bbi injected cars. If the Boxer is a carbed bb my understanding is they are worth a bit less than the injected models because of perceived reliability and drivability issues. That said a carb Boxer is my next Ferrari. Black tan is my color of choice. Where is the Boxer located? I should not ask, my wife would have me sleeping in the garage. My spider is there now so good company but no heat!

    The car is in florida and i think it was bougth from the old toy store over 10 years ago.

    Titanium360, a 512 bbi listed as excellent, resale red with all tools, records etc etc with 6800 miles, all services, sold for $76.5k. That appears to be current high end.
    I would guess depending on actual condition, service required or not etc etc a black bb is $60’s to low $70’s. Again just a guess. Considering I have just started looking at the market I would be curious what he asks and gets. I may be interested but would hope to sell my spider prior to any new acquisition!
