512 M Schedoni luggage set: any picture?

Hi Albert, mine has three pieces and I suspect it is the same as the 512 TR set, though I have never established whether the M had its own set for the just 501 cars made. The shape of the front boot/trunk is different because of the headlights.

I'd send you a pic except the car is here with me but the luggage is in storage, because it takes up all the space in the boot/trunk which I need for school bags/shopping bags/laptop bags whenever I drive the M. I'd love to live a life where I used the Schedoni luggage in between home and my mistress's house in Monaco every weekend but...not really.

 

I'd like to see, and I'll take pix of my own set whenever I get to them. They are still in the bags they came in, I don't think I've ever actually examined them.

My 512 Tr luggage see only has 3 pieces
And they have 512 Testarossa embossed in them

If you only have 3 pieces - you're unfortunately missing 2. It was a 5 piece set that came in black or tan.

Most sets sold are missing the keys, dustcovers, brief case, and the shorter/smaller of the two larger bags (oval shaped).

The Testarossa (TR) had 6 pieces, but not the 512TR due to not having the full back shelf space like a TR. The two large TR luggage bags are thinner and brief case is more like a map case (I have one because I like the size), while 512TR brief case is just like a traditional normal brief case.

Do you have pics or a factory document offering a 6 pc 512TR set?

I have a 512TR set and there is the longer, narrower piece for behind the seats. The piece is embossed with 512TR only. It does not fit quite right unless you move the seats forward a bit. So the 512 TR complete set is the same as the Testarrossa, 6 pieces.

 

I have had 3 sets of the 512TR luggage and all were 5 pieces with the briefcase. I have never seen a 512TR long case, so if it exists, can you produce a photo. It has to be very rare.

 

Jimbo, I am not with the luggage at this time. I will post a photo of the long narrow piece in a couple of weeks. It appears to be the same as the Testarossa but as I said earlier it is embossed with 512TR only.

 

I have never understood where the briefcase is suppose to fit. Unless it is the deeper indent behind the seats. But then there is absolutely no room for the longer narrower piece.

 

My point exactly. You could not use the briefcase and the long case behind the seats at the same time. The briefcase seems to fit OK there. Maybe Shedoni just made them to be different?

The 512TR set came in 5 and 6 pieces configs, in Morocco and Leather - original prices $3439 to $4062 respectively
