Well as you all may know its going into winter here in Chicago and its time to put the old girl to rest. Any suggestions on what to add or not to add to the fuel? Gas around her sucks now, all pumped up with ethanol and summer winter blends, so all I want to do is not mess up the fuel injectors.. Let me know

A little Stabil in the tank and you're good. Honestly, if you are only storing her for a couple months (Dec-March) you don't really need anything in the fuel. It's longer storage that gets to be a problem.

I go with a double dose of stabil, car runs much better on it too, especially in the upper revs, dont know why, but the difference is marked.

Have used stabil for years in my boxer, also pump tires up to 50psi to avoid flat spots. Lastly you can go for a carbag with dessicant, it seals the car and drops humidity below 50%. I would also advise storing with fresh oil.

This system has worked for me for up to 10 months at a stretch. Over 11 winters all I have had to do is put battery back in and off we went. As a precaution I would also look under car before starting in spring, a few oil drops are ok, but its best to make sure everything hasent drained out. Boxer oil can only be checked once the engine has been warmed up, so if it had oil in it when you put it away, check it hasent dribbled out.
