and the final 512TR diagrams... Fig. 7 Wipers, Washers, Doorlocks, Mirrors and Radio Fig. 9 Windows, Interior Lights, Buzzer and Glovebox Fig.10 Passive Seatbelt System Sorry, not much extra detail in these diagrams due to lack of familiarity with these cars.
This is great information. I have a xerox copy of wiring diagrams marked M.Y. 1986/1987 and 9599.0839 (which is hand written). In comparing the Fig 3 drawings, my schematics look different. Want me to scan them and pass them to someone? Jeff Pintler 89 348tb, 86tr, 99 360 3pedal
If that's for a euro 86/87 TR (i.e., it doesn't say "US VERSION" on the cover) it has a F113A engine (K-Jet without Lambda) so Fig 3 will be more similar to a BB512i (e.g., WURs, no injection ECUs).
Actually no it is not the same. Eha's and Lambda's and cats. Also on the 86 (at least mine), there are connections from pin two of the ECU's directly to grounds on the chassis and I replaced the female terminal with a type for injectors and added a pigtail to add connections to a intake plenum stud as per your comments on these systems. This is how I solved the in-tank fuel filter problem (inspired by British old-timey motorcycles). Back to the topic: The injection schematics are different than posted above. I may have that wrong as euro TR may have already gone to F113B engines in 1986. If the Fig 3 schematic you have has: Injection ECUs and O2 sensors = US version Injection ECUs but no O2 sensors = euro version which is it?
Steve. Mine has ecu's and o2 sensors and my schematic also shows that. And it would be great if someone with some graphic software could go over these old Xerox copies and clean them up. They would make serious cool posters for our garages. And also I would like to thank you for all your postings on sorting out the electrical systems. And I found new Tachometric relays for $45 on eBay! I finally figured the fuel system (replacing all ten parts in the fuel system - 8 failed- and having Larry rebuild Eha's and fuel Dists) and after connecting 4 digital volt meters to measure lamda voltages and eha currents and with your postings I got it running correctly. I even found an old bosh document on initial adjustment of rebuilt fuel distributers. Thank you again Steve. Sorry to go off topic. Jeff Pintler 89 348tb, 86tr, 99 360 3-pedal
