I've gotten a couple qoutes for a 30k service here in Los Angeles

    6,500.00
    9,000.00
    and 12,000.00
Can someone point me in a better direction for cheaper pricing ?

I have a friend who's a wiz on porsche etc and other cars. He says he can service it.. Do you need to be a Ferrari person todo a 30k service?

TR service is like Pandora's box. Once you drop the engine there always seems to be something you didn't expect. You will become very accustomed to the phrase "...as long as you have the engine out you might as well..."

amen to this.....the 30k estimate i received from MAG in ohio for 512tr was $5k. when everything was said and done, the "might as well" factor made the final tab closer to $10k.

Take it to a Ferrari guy. Would you go to an ENT guy for a chest pain?

If you want it lower that 6500 dream on. That is too low for a thourough job. 7.5-9 is more like it if there are no troubles.
