I'm putting it out there to get feedback. What would a 1984 Ferrari 512 BB be worth. Key pints are * Euro spec LHD * 7200miles * Silver with no Black Boxer paint on lower half. Black interior * Full history, books and tools Now the not so good bits * Water damaged car * Gearbox not original been changed so not number matching I know it can and will be a money pit but at the rignt price it will be a cool car to drive Thanks
There is a red one on gumtree in Melbourne for 110K with water damage........Looks very suspect to me......If it's too good to be true you normally get burnt badly IMO......
You may have a world of trouble re-selling it after you've forked out a fortune repairing it. Will be some guys on here with much more knowledge than I chime in no doubt.
If you don’t foresee needing cash in a hurry go for it BUT BBi is the least desirable of all BBs and taking account LHD and the other issues, I would value it at $150k
lol, give me a break, I was 8 in 1974 1974 365GT4/BB I bought it July 2001 and sold about 7 years later. Esteemed list of owners (including myself ). First owner was David Piper. It was the car Alan Bond gifted to Ben Lexcen for winning the America’s Cup
Nah, that’d be the 575 BB = temperamental, hot cabin, terrible on long trips, super expensive to maintain BUT amazing road presence, sounded like a scalded cat when revved, delicious click-clack when changing gears, whole neighbourhood would cheer at startup. So yeah, awesome Image Unavailable, Please Login
"water damage" usually means flood damaged like this. Image Unavailable, Please Login Was it saltwater or freshwater?
Here is the gumtree add......Check the name out.....Smells like Lagos.... https://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/melbourne-cbd/cars-vans-utes/ferrari-512bb/1180218693
