    Hello to everyone. Does anyone know if there is a source for a 512BB ignition coil (Marelli BAE202B)? I tried a few places, and had no luck. Ahhh, the joys of classic car ownership....

    Another alternative would be rebuilding our Boxer ignition coils. Has anyone had any experience doing this?

    Good day Rgscorsa,

    I guess it would depend upon what you need for a rebuild... an Electrical rebuild (e.g. internally the coil is no longer working as it should) ... or an aesthetic "rebuild"... Either way you can contact "Newman" on here, as he recently rebuilt a coil for one of his projects. You can see the before and after in the following post:

    After researching I discovered that there is fortunately an alternative to our original unobtainable ignition coil, it is Ferrari part 105452/A. I hope this will some day help someone. Cheers!
