Has anyone heard of a fuel pump leaking? Noticed a pool of liquid under the Boxer so climbed under to have a look. The fuel was dripping from the filter so I figured a fitting worked loose. On closer inspection the fuel was dripping from above the filter. Pulled the clamp holding the filter so I could get the filter out of the way. It looks like there is fuel leaking out the end of the pump where the electrical connections are. The fitting on that end sticks out from the pump a couple of inches so is easy to see if it's leaking. It is not. I've never heard of a Bosch pump springing a leak but I guess there's always a first time. Anyone heard of this?

    Another question...

Is there a way to jumper the fuel pump relay to run the pump? I know on Volvos (my expertise) you can run a jumper on the relay multi-pin connector and run the pump. We need to drain some fuel out of the tank and siphoning seems to be a bit troublesome because there seem to be baffles (?) in the tank...
