There is a water hose that runs from the engine to heater valve ~9 feet long. AND There is an oil hose that snakes forward through some of the chassis that goes from tank to engine (it's held by two clamps) Question. Where the two cross perpendicularly in the chassis section - Is the WATER hose ABOVE or BELOW? Thanks.
Well, careful attention to detail there is no harm, you can't change routing however when in place; I always clamp them down carefully so they don't chatter to the chassis.
After careful studying of the old water hose, I found a very small witness mark of the braid scuff on the top side. I had a real fun time changing that water hose, and lost track of the relationship in that busy area of the car (fuel pumps, accumulators, filters, hoses, wires etc.). I like to keep these details per factory as they learn the why's regarding placement as only can be obtained from putting multiples of these cars together.
