I'm just curious.... what are you guys running your oil level at? My oil tank dip stick has a 4.25 inch distance between "minimum and maximum" level marks. I keep my tank filled to about 1" below the maximum mark and take the measurement immediately after shutting down the engine and opening the bonnet.
About the same. Not all the way to the top but closer to the top than the bottom. In'm about 1 inch below the max when read just after shutting the engine off. Drew Altemara
