    I have a 1984 BBi
    I got new tires last year.
    Just bought a nuvalino exhaust and manifolds that I'm mounting on the car.
    I was hunting down an AC leak and the mechanic saw the radiator leaking.
    He's able to rebuild it but I thought it might make sense to get a new one.

    At this point I guess I'll just rebuild as I couldn't find a replacement part easily and I want to get it on the road.

    Eurospares had 5 last year. $5K a pop however so I completely rebuilt one including the top and bottom plates and fan mount brackets. It was a pain but better than the $5K alternative.

    If you plan on driving it much, call Ron Davis Racing for an aluminum one, shrouded with new electric fans. They have the patterns for BB and BBi. Ask for Bill Wiilamson 623-877-5000 Ext.16

    Have the heavy original repaired, and put it away in the new box.

    but then just put in a stronger/bigger net. I did so and have absolutely no problems anymore
