    Yes somewhere around there, more like 7300, but realisticaly in stock form most of the power is gone by the late 6's . A freeflow exhaust changes the picture though and power can build strongly to cutout.

    Yes, 7000rpm, but it pulls like crazy with instant torque off idle at 700rpm all the way to 7000

    There is a very long interstate entrance ramp near my house that I use on a regular basis. I always try to see how fast I can get my Boxer at the white line painted on the road where it enters onto the highway. I have found that by upshifting a 5,000 rpm I obtain a higher speed at that line than I do by shifting a 6,000rpm or redline.

    We find that at Bonneville a lot. If you have lots of torque, short shift it and let it pull.
