    In the picture below you can see a plastic trim piece that covers the seat rails at the bottom of the seats. I have seen these on 1984 models but not on previous models does anyone know when these lower pieces were added to the seats?

    Looks like they added them sometime in the middle of the 48000 serial numbers.
    Anyone out there with 48000 series cars?
