In case anyone was curious on the result of the no reserve RM auction in Monterey for a 512BBi it sold for $81k. It looked repainted and was very thick with some slight rippleing and swirls, turn signal lenses were not flush either,the interior looked redyed also but the car looked very nice in Black and sounded awesome, the car was very popular with everyone and had big crowds around it mostly admirerers though, interesting in contrast to a red Daytona that sold for more no-one seemed to pay much attention to at all the same with a white 360.
