    Hey guys,

I'm trying to figure out if a 512M centre console unit is the same on RHD and LHD cars? I was looking at the Eurospares website and even the handbrake and passenger parcel trays don't indicate the part numbers for LHD and RHD.

The only reference I can find is when it says:

Not for GD or Valid for GD.

Anyone know what GD stands for?

For future reference here are more codes, though not specifically for F512M. I don't have a F512M SPC and my 512TR SPC doesn't have the codes, so this is from my 1990 TR SPC. I suspect the majority of the basic codes did not change, and obviously the chassis no. changes don't apply to the later models

    GS L.H.D. Version
    GD R.H.D. Version
    GD1 R.H.D Version (Until car no. 83373)
B1 Standard version without catalytic converter
BE L.H.D. version without catalytic converter (Starting from chassis no. 82966)
GDE R.H.D. version without catalytic converter (Starting from chassis no. 83374)
CAT Standard version without catalytic converter (Starting from chassis no. 82966)

Fantastic info guys, thanks very much.

I have a LHD 512M that is beyond repair so I will salvage everything that I can from the wreck and fit it into a 1987 Testa RHD shell.

Should be an interesting project, especially fabricating a RHD dash from the LHD M components.

So when I'm checking Eurospares and see GD, this means that it suits a RHD vehicle. Excellent.

Ha! Robert...you really needed another project? Just keeping 3 TR's operational is impressive enough. Haven't seen any updates to your "Aussie Testarossa Rubuild" thread lately, it has been inspiring watching your progress--motor back in now?

    Hi Tim,

Been busy with work projects since late October so Testa project came to a screaming halt.

Once I get this damaged 512M stowed away I'll be back to my engine rebuild project. A couple of weeks and you will see updates again.

Sorry John, there is nothing left from the firewall forward. Hit hard in the front.
